1. Information We Collect

1.1 Photos You Upload

When you use the baby generation feature, you upload one or two photos directly within the app. These images are transmitted securely over HTTPS for the sole purpose of generating your requested AI baby image. Photos are held in our secure storage only while your generation runs and are automatically deleted as soon as your result is delivered. We do not use your photos for any other purpose, including training AI models, advertising, or sharing with third parties beyond the processing pipeline.

1.2 Purchase and Payment Information

All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card number, billing address, or any other financial information. We receive only an anonymized confirmation of your purchase to verify your access to premium features.

1.3 Device Information

We may collect non-personal device metadata including your device model, operating system version, and app version. This information is used strictly for diagnosing compatibility issues and improving performance. It cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

1.4 Anonymous Usage Analytics

We collect aggregated, anonymous data about how features are used — for example, which generation mode is most popular, or average generation completion time. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used only to guide product improvements.

1.5 Crash Reports

If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is automatically sent to help us diagnose and fix the issue. These reports include a stack trace and device type but do not include your photos, saved results, or any personal data.

1.6 Locally Saved Results

Generated images you choose to save are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We have no access to locally saved images. They are yours entirely, and are deleted only when you remove them or uninstall the app.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We believe in radical transparency. Here is a clear list of data we do not collect under any circumstance:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials — the app has no accounts.
• API keys or authentication tokens — all AI processing uses our own server-side keys.
• Your location data, GPS coordinates, or IP address logs.
• Your contacts, calendar, or any other on-device data beyond the photos you choose to upload.
• Biometric data or facial recognition profiles derived from your photos.
• Behavioral tracking data tied to your identity across sessions.
• Any data from children — this app is not intended for users under 18.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Processing your uploaded photos through our AI pipeline to generate a baby image.
• Verifying your subscription status to grant access to premium features.
• Diagnosing technical issues and improving app stability via crash reports.
• Improving features and user experience using anonymous, aggregated analytics.
• Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, selling to data brokers, or any purpose not listed above.

4. How AI Processing Works

Couple Baby Generator manages all AI infrastructure on your behalf. When you tap "Generate":

• Your photo(s) are compressed on your device.
• They are transmitted via HTTPS to our secure backend storage.
• Our infrastructure forwards the images to our AI processing partner (kie.ai) using our own API credentials — your identity is never exposed to kie.ai.
• The generated image is returned to your device.
• The uploaded copies of your photos are automatically deleted from our storage as soon as your generation finishes.

5. Face Data

Couple Baby Generator does not collect or store biometric identifiers. We do not use facial recognition, Face ID, ARKit face tracking, or any technology that creates face templates, faceprints, or facial geometry maps from your photos.

• What we receive: ordinary photographs that you voluntarily select or take, which typically contain your and your partner's faces.
• How they are used: exclusively as visual input for our AI image partner (kie.ai) to create your fictional baby picture — never for identification, authentication, advertising, profiling, or AI model training by us.
• Where they are stored: uploaded photos are held temporarily in our secure cloud storage for the sole purpose of completing your generation request.
• Sharing: photos are shared only with our AI processing provider (kie.ai) to fulfill your request. No other third party receives them, and face data is never sold.
• Retention and deletion: uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our storage immediately after your generation completes. Generated images exist only on your device, and you can delete them at any time from the Gallery.
• No face templates, measurements, or biometric data derived from your photos are ever created, retained, or shared.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

6.1 AI Processing Pipeline

Your uploaded photos are routed to kie.ai's image generation API. This transmission is governed by kie.ai's own data processing agreements. Photos are sent solely for generating your output and are not retained by kie.ai beyond their processing window.

6.2 App Store Platforms

Apple processes your payment and may share anonymized purchase confirmation data with us. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their privacy policy.

6.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public, prevent fraud, or defend our legal rights.

6.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any data we hold may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify users of such a change via in-app notice at least 30 days in advance.

7. Data Security

• All photo uploads are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Our backend infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 certified providers.
• Photos are stored only for the duration of your generation request and are deleted immediately after it completes.
• Uploads use randomized, unguessable file names and are never linked to your name or identity.
• Generated images saved to your device are protected by your device's own OS-level encryption.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks. We encourage you to keep your device OS and app up to date.

8. Data Retention

• Uploaded photos: automatically deleted from our storage immediately after your generation completes.
• Generated images: stored on your device only — we have no copies.
• Purchase verification: retained as long as needed to validate your access.
• Anonymous analytics: aggregated data retained for up to 24 months.
• Crash reports: retained for up to 90 days, then automatically purged.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You can delete all locally saved generated images at any time from the app. Since we do not maintain user accounts or personally identifiable profiles, there is minimal server-side data to delete. For any deletion requests regarding crash report or analytics identifiers, contact us at lilianmercado@proton.me and we will process your request within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).

European residents (GDPR): you have rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Our legal basis for processing your uploaded photos is the performance of the service contract. Contact lilianmercado@proton.me to exercise your rights.

10. Children's Privacy

Couple Baby Generator is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors. The photo upload feature must not be used to upload images of anyone under 18 years of age. If we discover that a minor has used the service, we will delete any associated data immediately. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has used the app should contact us at lilianmercado@proton.me.

11. Third-Party Services

• kie.ai — processes photo data on our behalf for image generation. Users do not interact with kie.ai directly.
• Apple App Store — handles payment processing and purchase verification.
• RevenueCat — validates subscription receipts; receives no photos or personal identifiers beyond an anonymous app-scoped ID.
• Expo — cross-platform framework that may collect anonymous device telemetry.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
